Pilates Privates and Semi Private Classes

Slow Moving Pilates Classes For Your Nerves: 

Offered, when invited to your studio.

For all bodies~ All Levels

Most people exercise incorrectly, without knowing they’re using the wrong muscles for the exercise; due to past trauma.

Since my focus in everything I do is the nervous system “Slow Moving Pilates” teaches you… 

        * How to read your body (being aware of                    jerks and jumps in your muscles) 

       *  To be aware of your discomfort when doing            a certain movement,

       *  How to release this discomfort and restore            your muscle and joint strength.

I use only basic prep and level-1 exercises. 

If you are used to doing Levels 2 to 5 Pilates exercises, my classes are perfect to check your alignment and build more strength.


Don’t be fooled. My experience has shown me that slower and more controlled movement is harder and more advanced and...Gives Faster Results.


The classes are offered on all equipment depending on what the studio I’m visiting offers. I can teach a full class of Pilates mat which is great for Pilates, Yoga and Dance studios that have no equipment.

In a fully equipped Pilates Studio, I use however many Reformers, Pole-Systems, Towers and Chairs the studio offers. If the studio has room or if the Reformers turn to tables, I can teach mat classes as well. 

I also offer multiple 1- hour classes in a day, covering exercises on each piece of equipment.


Moving slowly takes more concentration, precision and control.


In all of my classes I explain what you’re trying to do and why it's important for your body.

I try to make the classes non-intimidating, informative and fun; focusing on 4 Pilates principles:

           * Breathing, 

           * Whole Body Commitment (Concentration, control, Centering, Precision, Rhythm),

           * Oppositional pull,

           * Whole Body Health (not one muscle or muscle group is over working)

My Goal:

To empower you to know what to do in any exercise environment when you are feeling discomfort. (Not just Pilates exercising but out hiking, running, exercising at the gym, Yoga class, dancing, etc..) To empower you to understand your body’s messages instead of worrying about them.


Other Offerings:

Private Sessions and Semi-Privates 2 or 3 people ~ On equipment or mat. These classes are more personalized and therefore cost more than a regular class.
