While Receiving Bowen

After a Session  

Please, no hot-tub, hot bath or shower after a session that day. The day after is fine. Immersing your body in hot water the same day, after a treatment will erase the treatment.

While Receiving Bowen please do not sign up for any other hands-on treatments such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, Rolfing, etc. Many people think giving their body multiple treatments in a week helps it. This does not. It only confuses your nervous system and makes the healing process take longer.

If you are only receiving one therapy at a time. You will find out faster what works for your body, heal quicker and save money. 

Exercising is fine after a session ~ Yoga, Bicycling, Pilates, Aerobics, Running, Physical Therapy, etc. Just don’t do too much.
